Speak Smart Initiatives is an education initiative focused on strengthening communication skills in schools through practical, activity-based and student-centred learning.
Our flagship programme, SCALE — School Communication & Language Enhancement, is designed to complement the English curriculum rather than replace it.
Co-Founder
After completing an MBA in 2000, Sajid spent a decade in banking and insurance, including roles with Yes Bank, Kotak Bank and Aviva Life Insurance. His work then moved into education, school leadership and entrepreneurship, including Teach For India, school-building experience and fellowships with ISLI and STiR. Speak Smart Initiatives brings this education experience into a focused communication programme for schools.
Co-Founder
Obaid and Sajid studied together at Allahabad University after meeting after Class 12. Obaid brings a technology and entrepreneurship perspective to Speak Smart Initiatives and runs DigiOxide, a technology business. His role complements the education focus with technology-enabled execution and operational thinking.
